Fall is my fav time of year. Vibrant natural colours fill the trees, fashion becomes fun again and the air just seems cleaner. Not to mention the comfort food! Now that I have relocated myself down South my Fall has consisted of not so smouldering weather and the occasional cold (cool) front making me appreciate a good Canadian autumn that much more. No, palm trees don’t change color, unfortunately.
Lucky for me my southern hubby loves the real fall as much as I and agreed to head north for a week of camping in search of changing leaves, decor inspiration and brisk mornings. We had a great time until he woke up on the ground in 30°F weather. Aside from that Northern Georgia is the perfect getaway for anyone seeking the perfect fall backdrop.

Here are a few ideas from my favourite blogs to bring the fall spirit to your dining table:

1. Quick and easy ways to decorate with pumpkins from The Daily Basics.

2. Save some cash using items commonly found outside your door via The Frugal Homemaker.

3. Cotton adds a natural softness to any fall centrepiece and can easily be used in your winter decor like this beautiful display by Orsa Maggiore Vintage (left) or from Tail Cotton n’ Peas on ESTY

4. We were lucky enough to get a glance of several woodland creatures on our journey. I used one here courtesy of Target in my own simple Florida fall inspired table decor.
